District Pest Management Plan (DPMP): Pilot district: Warangal from June 2016 to June 2019: District Pest Management Plan is a holistic approach to prepare a pest management plan for a district and it includes various components like soil and plant health management, varietal selection, nutrition management, agronomic practices, ecological engineering and influence of prevailing community on pests and diseases. This plan involves the National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM), National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE),  State Agriculture Department, State Horticulture department, Agriculture Research Stations, ATMA, KVK's, Agriculture and Horticulture Universities. Prepared pest management plan and implemented through various extension activities of dissemination of messages, radio talks, and demonstrations. The training was conducted to agriculture officers, horticulture officers and farmers in integrated pest management. It is a highly successful Pilot project and as a principal investigator report was submitted to DAC.

Project on Study of “Impact of Indiscriminate Use of Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides” (Rabi 2016-17 -Kharif 2019-2020): DAC entrusted a project to study “Impact of Indiscriminate Use of Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides” with major objectives of analysis of the impact of indiscriminate use of insecticides and fertilizers on Crops, Soil, water, and Agricultural produce. NIPHM was the nodal agency and 7 SAUs (TNAU-Tamil Nadu, ANGRAU, Andhra Pradesh, PJTSAU –Telangana, VNMKV-Maharashtra, CSAUA&T -Uttar Pradesh, PAU-Punjab, BCKV -West Bengal)and 1 SHU (YSRHU - Andhra Pradesh) are the partners. As principal investigator data was compiled and report was submitted to DAC.
