Previous:

  1. Leading the technical team in developing and maintaining the IT resources (viz. Databases, applications, Servers and Networks) of VMC.
  2. Designed, developed and configured the moodle online learning and CMS environment for the municipal schools (initially for the SSC students, teachers and parents). The system is integrated with the GoAP initiative of Golden Mile Project envisioned for Vijayawada. The support structure for provisioning of online teaching and education with the help of “CISCO” Enabled Education Devices (CEED) installed in 10 Municipal Schools across the city shall enable the online classes and tutoring for the students. This project is initiated as a PROOF OF CONCEPT and is envisioned along with other features as street monitoring/view for traffic and crime control, smart lighting, smart schools, city portal and information kiosks.
  3. Designed, developed and implemented the provision for Online payment of taxes by integrating with almost various payment gateways like SBI ePAY, Techprocess, PayU and in-house modules of ICICI Bank and AXIS Bank Credit and Debit Card Payments.
  4. Designed, developed and integration of webservices for Mobile payment facility of VMC Mobile APP, CITY PORTAL and KIOSKS and eSeva and MeeSeva facilities.
  5. Training and handholding of all VMC employees in adopting and successfully implementing eOffice in VMC. VMC is the first ULB in the state of Andhra Pradesh to implement eOffice comprehensively.
  6. Adopted and trained the VMC personnel in implementing the AEBAS – (Aadhar Enable Biometric Attendance System) of NIC in VMC.
  7. Configured SSL Certificate for the VMC Web Server, which is on IIS6.0 for implementing the online collection facility through payment gateways.
  8. Conceptualized, designed, developed and implemented the front-office activities of Council-Secretary Cell, like providing a CMS facility to record and host the proceedings and resolutions of the Council and Standing Committes for the general public. The application is implemented in two modes, viz., a client application and Web application, provisioning the hosting of the resolutions on the VMC portal.
  9. Conceptualized, designed, developed and implemented comprehensive sports module, helpful in keeping track of all the sports facilities and services offered to the sports personnel. It helps in provisioning sports membership, monthly sports fee generation, its collections, various reports, membership details etc. It is also helpful in online payment of the sports membership enrollment and membership fees.
  10. Designed, developed and implemented comprehensive NMR HR module.
  11. Conceptualized, developed and implemented, Bill Tracking Systems. This module is developed by backward integration of the already existing engineering works module. It captures the whole process of payment of engineering work bills, contingency bills, salary bills etc. This module is very much helpful in tracking the delay in movement of various files related to bill payments. By implementing this module, VMC has reduced unnecessary time lapses by its employees in processing the bills.
  12. Streamlining of citizen grievances registration and auto messaging (SMS) of the complaints to the respective officials for timely action. Also implemented the auto escalation of the grievance to the higher-ups if pending beyond the stipulated period.
  13. Total redesign and upkeep of the VMC portal (www.ourvmc.org).
  14. Totally revamped the existing sewerage (UGD) module and integrated into the existing applications. Right from application receipt to connection executing, demand generation, demand collections and generating various MIS reports.
  15. Totally revamped the existing D&O Trades Module. Developed the module right from generating the new trade licenses – demand generation – demand collections to generating various MIS reports.
  16. Developed and implemented a module for the Legal Cell for monitoring the payments to various prosecutors.
  17. Complete automation of Court Cases related to VMC. This has helped VMC in taking timely actions on various cases from time to time as per the court directions and proceedings.
  18. Prepared a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for development and implementation of eGovernance and GIS solutions at VMC, which was submitted to the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMC), which was approved for Rs. 4.2 Cr.
  19. Drafting RFPs on eGovernance/GIS development and implementation, Digital door numbering system for floating tenders.
  20. Prepared a blue print of the proposed GIS based eGovernance solution, which adheres to the National eGovernance Plan (NeGP), National and State Municipal Accounting Manuals (NMAM/SMAM). A solution, which is a full-fledged ERP with very high level of customization and parameterization suitable and flexible to meet the future needs of the organization.
  21. Planned an implemented the required WAN for implementing the SCADA project for Water Works.
  22. Augmented the existing networking infrastructure for geographically located circle offices to meet the existing networking requirements.
  23. Implementing System Security and User Privileges using firewalls
