 Distribution: Europe and Northern Asia South and South-East Asia

 Body:   Body a balanced mixture of black and yellow

Head First flagellomere as long as face, rounded apically. Face with round facial spots.

 Thorax: Thorax with number of pale whitish to yellow post sutural stripes three.     Sub scutellum yellowish to orange-brown medially, with distinct dark spots laterally. 

Legs : Fore femur yellow/pale, sometimes with a dark preapical spot. Mid and hind femora pale.

Wings:  Wings with distance between cross vein r-m and costa shorter than r-m; posterodistal corner of cell dm distinctly acute.

Abdomen:   Abdominal tergites with separate dark areas on anterolateral margins of T3-T5.  Abdominal terga III-V fulvous with a black ‘T’ pattern and anterolateral corners of terga IV and V with broad black markings; Posterior lobe of male surstylus short; female with apex of aculeus trilobed.
