Distribution: Australasian - Oceanian

Body :  A yellow to orange-brown species

Head: Medium sized irregularly oval black facial spots present

Thorax: Lateral yellow stripes on the scutum, facial spots, prescutellar acrostichal setae, 2 scutellar setae, and a typical dacine wing pattern.Male with a pecten.  Without supra-alar setae.

Legs :

Wings:  Wing with a narrow fuscous costal band and broad fuscous anal streak cells bc and c colourless with microtrichia in outer corner of cell c only.

Abdomen:  Abdominal terga III-V orange-brown except for a fuscous to black transverse band across anterior margin of tergum III . Fuscous to black medial longitudinal band generally over all three terga but often variable. Posterior lobe of male surstylus long; female with aculeus tip needle shaped.
